Dad's Boot camp?

Last night, I went to "Dad's Boot Camp" at Babies-R-Us. They offer these free seminars to future Dads, hoping to prepare us for our impending doom. Well, I did get some more free stuff, and snarfed on some Cool Ranch Doritos. "Cool Ranch" are my favorite!

Saturday night, I killed a rabbit. I promise you that it wasn't on purpose. Jennie and I were on our way home from seeing "The Passion of the Christ," and three rabbits ran across the road in an apparent attempt to intimidate us off the road. I tried to miss them - and I did miss 2 out of 3. Not bad!

Of course there's still this sinking feeling that "I'm the heartless jerk who ran over a rabbit the other day." Please don't bring it up.

My mom loves rabbits, and has dozens of bunnies in all shapes and sizes. Not real ones, mind you. "Mind you?" "No, actually, I don't mind. She can have all the rabbits she wants." Allison is destined to love bunnies, buckeyes, and e-bay. We are currently in the bidding for two really cute Ohio State outfits on E-bay. Can you register there?

We spent Monday night at the hospital (again). Not what you think, though - this was for our pregnancy class. There were a bunch of women in labor (class grads) who provided some nice sound effects for our tour of the labor & delivery floor. We got to hear one woman actually give birth down the hall, and she sounded quite distressed, for crying out loud. Apparently, this was our "reality" pregnancy class. Jennie wonders if she'll make lots of crazy noises like that, and I hope so.

The best part of doing a journal online is how every few minutes, my wife goes, "Honey! You can't write that!"

You know, she's right.
